Being a little younger I was working at my Dad’s office. Seeing him travelling all day to sell his company’s Software I was thinking “Isn’t there a simpler way to offer it to customers?”
Is his Software not good enough that customers want to buy it on their own?
I had grown up with Software and therefore knew a lot of online marketplaces already. Even though my research discovered that endless sales meetings is just the way it’s done in Business 2 Business I was heavily fascinated by the idea to make B2B Software sales less of a time consuming pain.
Isn’t it rather ironic that Software has improved the whole (commerce) world but B2B Software business is still far behind in how business is done today?
And Software won’t be anytime soon less important. It’s just called App, AI and VR tomorrow.
Today I’m still thinking on how to improve the Software Business 2 Business market and getting rid of old habits. Softarket Version 2 is the second step towards this goal.
